Good Noise is looking for singers with a passion for singing, who have previous choral experience (can be classical, gospel, vocal jazz, church, school choir) and have the time to commit to a busy rehearsal and performance schedule. Prospective singers should prepare one song of the singer’s choice, and in addition will be asked to sing basic vocal exercises to establish range and potential section placement (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). An interview will also be part of the audition process.
Singing in the choir enriches my life because I am reminded of the love, joy, hope, and promise we are meant to share. Time with Gail and choir members together singing nourishes my heart and soul every week!
–Janette McIntosh, Alto
Good Noise auditions are held annually in late May or early June. Those wishing to audition for the choir are encouraged to attend a Good Noise concert, if they have not already done so, in order to be familiar with the choir, the music, and the vocal sound.
Good Noise is a diverse group of singers. All those who love gospel music and find value in its message are welcome to audition.
